Serge van der Voo has been a professional landscape designer since 1997.

Serge is certified in Healthcare Garden Design by the School of the Chicago Botanic Gardens.  He holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable Landscape Planning and Design from the Conway School of Landscape Design in Conway, Massachusetts.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture at the Ohio State University, shortly after he completed a one-year internship with a multi-disciplinary urban design firm in the Netherlands.

From 1998-2004 Serge gained valuable hands-on design/build experience in the Chicago area.  Projects ranged from small historic urban lots to large rural estate properties to high-rise hospital rooftop gardens.  In 2005 Serge returned to his hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan to fulfill a project management position with a 40-acre continuing healthcare facility before starting his own design firm.
